The National Commission on Small Arms and Light Weapons paid a courtesy call on the Ahmadiyya Muslim Mission at its Headquarters in Accra, engaging over 60 participants in a dialogue on peacebuilding, public education, and the prevention of illicit small arms proliferation.

The engagement forms part of the Commissionโ€™s efforts to combat the misuse of small arms through awareness creation and strategic stakeholder collaboration.

Key discussions highlighted the dangers of illicit small arms, the Commissionโ€™s ongoing public education initiatives and the critical role of faith-based institutions in shaping responsible citizenship and promoting a gun-violence-free Ghana.
