The National Commission on Small Arms and Light Weapons, in collaboration with the Foundation for Security and Development in Africa (FOSDA), the United Nations, the International Committee of the Red Cross, and Article 36, will convene a High-Level National Consultation on the Protection of Civilians from Explosive Weapons in Populated Areas (EWIPA).

This strategic engagement ahead of the Africa Regional Workshop in Accra reflects Ghana’s commitment to strengthening civilian protection and advancing global efforts to reduce harm from explosive weapons.
